Nursing Assistant Education in Video, Nursing Assessment in Video

Alexander Street Press has introduced two online video collections, Nursing Assistant Education in Video and Nursing Assessment in Video, both of which are designed for nursing professionals in training.

Nursing Assistant Education in Video includes 37 full-length training videos geared toward nursing assistants. These videos cover topics such as include infection control, oral care, and communication and working with elders. Nursing Assessment in Video showcases the skills and techniques nurses need to know to make an accurate patient assessment. According to Alexander Street Press, because all titles in the collections were created since 2009 and 2012 respectively, the databases ensure professionals will have access to the most up-to-date information available.

The two collections launch on Alexander Street Press’s new interface, which is said to provide access to dozens of features including synchronised scrolling transcripts, tools for creating and sharing video clips and playlists, and unlimited anytime, anywhere access to content.
