Springer has begun publishing Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing (MBEC), the official journal of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering.
The first newly-designed issue appeared in March. The journal was previously published by Peter Peregrinus Limited.
Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing was founded in 1963. The journal is to be published monthly rather than bi-monthly, which is expected to streamline the flow of papers and shorten the period between acceptance and publication.
