International Bibliography of the Social Sciences

ProQuest has acquired the London School of Economics’ International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS). This abstracting and indexing database for social science and interdisciplinary research was established in 1951. It holds more than 2.5 million bibliographic references to journal articles, books, reviews and chapters and expands by more than 120,000 new additions each year.
As part of the ProQuest family, IBSS hopes to continue to grow and expand full-text links. ProQuest also plans to migrate the resource to its unified platform so that is will become cross-searchable with all ProQuest content that a library subscribes to.
