EBSCOhost/ The Polymer Library

The Polymer Library is now available on the EBSCOhost platform thanks to a partnership between Smithers Rapra and EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO). The Polymer Library (formerly Rapra Abstracts) is said to be the world’s largest database dedicated to plastics, rubber, polymeric composites and adhesives.

The database contains nearly a million records dating from 1972 to the present from around 500 publishers. It is designed for both academic and corporate researchers and includes information on the science, technology and business of polymers.

The Polymer Library's scope includes polymerization and synthesis, processing and treatment,compounding ingredients, adhesives and coatings, properties and testing, composite materials, intermediate & semi-finished products, additives, commercial information, environmental issues, markets and statistics, end-use applications, health and safety, raw materials and monomers, legislation, and trade names.
