Two Duquesne University libraries share Innovative system
7 March 2014
Duquesne University’s Gumberg Library and Center for Legal Information (CLI) of Pittsburg, PA, USA, have selected the Sierra Library Services Platform. Gumberg Library is moving from a SirsiDynix Symphony system while CLI is upgrading from Innovative’s Millennium ILS. This will result in a single Sierra system being shared by the two libraries which had previously operated separate systems.
'We are delighted to extend the relationship we have with CLI to include the Gumberg library as well,' says SVP of global marketing Gene Shimshock. 'With its powerful and trusted workflows and open systems architecture, Sierra is the acknowledged Library Services Platform leader offering a complete solution for academic libraries of all types.'
