Library management solutions company SirsiDynix and Recollect, a provider of cloud-based digital asset management and collection management software, have announced the availability of Recollect’s content platform to SirsiDynix customers around the world.

Designed to support libraries, universities, archives, and government organisations in curating highly discoverable digital collections, Recollect’s solution unites digital asset management and digital preservation functionality with community engagement tools. This means customers can capture and oversee new content, protect and publicise historic documents, and leverage industry-leading storytelling capabilities to spark conversations with their communities.

In addition to these robust features and functionality, Recollect also aims to offer a "uniquely accessible experience" for both institutions and their users. The platform’s scalable architecture accommodates customers small and large, and linked metadata ensures users can seamlessly access and engage with the vast array of content their preferred institution has to offer.

“We are delighted to partner with SirsiDynix to bring our Digital Collection Management and Community Engagement solution to their customers worldwide,” said Lisa McDonald, Recollect’s Chief Executive Officer. “Working together will enable more libraries to preserve, manage, and showcase their archives and special collections in a manner that engages patrons and supports communities.”

Bill Davison, Chief Executive Officer of SirsiDynix, added: “Recollect’s steadfast commitment to streamlining the collection management process, amplifying the discoverability of digital content, and empowering institutions and the communities they serve is one that resonates deeply with us here at SirsiDynix. We are honoured to collaborate with them to help libraries expand their digital footprints and make meaningful and lasting connections with their users.”
