Partnership helps reveal rights

Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) and document-delivery provider Reprints Desk have announced a partnership. The aim is to help corporations get the most value from their investments in content. The partnership will initially focus on integrating Rightsphere, CCC's rights management solution with the STM Document Delivery service from Reprints Desk.

As a result of this partnership, Rightsphere customers who purchase peer-reviewed journal articles via Reprints Desk will be able to find out what rights they have to use and share this content. Reprints Desk will enable users to check the rights status of the content against CCC's Rightsphere database without having to leave the document-delivery workflow.
