Ingram acquires assets of Audiofy Corporation

Ingram Digital has acquired the iofy digital audiobook platform from Audiofy Corporation. This development is said to enhance the company’s ability to offer conversion, management and delivery of audiobook titles via download and physical media.

Ingram Digital’s audio download solutions include content optimisation for multiple device delivery and rights protection. ‘We have been working closely with iofy on various digital initiatives for more than a year,’ said James Gray, president and CEO of Ingram Digital. ‘We view our acquisition at this juncture as a critical step forward in our ability to provide our customers with the best digital products and services in the industry.’
