Catalonian consortium selects Millennium library solution

The Consortium of Catalonian University Libraries (El Consorci de Biblioteques Universitàries de Catalunya - CBUC) in Barcelona, Spain has selected the Millennium integrated library solution. The nine-member group is migrating from a VTLS Classic system.

‘CBUC and its libraries have been reviewing ILS technology developments since 2003,’ said consortia director Lluís Anglada. ‘The group concluded that library technology has evolved enough to offer a next-generation of system to users. Millennium earned the most respect among our members because it closely complies with the requirements needed to offer modern library services on the web.’
